Volleyball Recap: Billings Christian Warriors vs. Foothills Community Christian Falcons
Billings Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Foothills Community Christian Falcons. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2020.
Billings Christian actually scored more points across those four sets (92-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. After all that action, the final score was 11-25, 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.
Even though they lost, Billings Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.
Billings Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Billings Christian is on the road again on Tuesday to play Yellowstone HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. As for Foothills Community Christian, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Billings Christian at 7:30 p.m. on October 4th.
