Softball Recap: Floyd Central Highlanders vs. Seymour Owls

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Floyd Central walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Seymour Owls with a sharp 11-0 win on Thursday. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Natalie Curtis was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Breleigh Lockhart, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Floyd Central lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
