Softball Game Preview: Bloom Blazing Trojan vs. Kankakee Kays

For the second straight game, Bloom will face off against Kankakee. The Blazing Trojan will venture away from home to take on the Kays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloom is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Bloom proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Kankakee, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blazing Trojan have posted since April 24, 2024.

For Kankakee's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Glogowski, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Kankakee's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Bloom, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
