Volleyball Recap: Carey Gets the Win

Carey won the last time they faced McComb and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Carey wouldn't go down easily and took McComb into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 26-24, 22-25, 15-4.

Rylie Stoops paced Carey's offense, picking up 18 kills. Stoops got some help from McKinnley Kessler and her 26 assists. Stoops was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Carey's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for McComb, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Carey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Wynford on the 7th. As for McComb, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Leipsic on the 6th.
