Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hope Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Erie-Mason Eagles 60-31.

Hope Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Erie-Mason, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Taylor Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erie-Mason, they will challenge Gabriel Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Gabriel Richard: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Erie-Mason has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
