Softball Recap: Covina Takes a Loss

Covina blew Katella out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Katella got their revenge. Covina fell just short of Katella by a score of 8-6. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Katella, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Covina didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-0 loss against Saint Joseph on the 29th. As for Katella, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Chaparral on the 29th.
