Basketball Recap: Warwick Victorious

After losing to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg the last time they met, Warwick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warwick Warriors snuck past the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots with a 72-68 victory on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Warwick has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6.
