After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McAllen, Rowe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sharyland Rattlers by a score of 3-1. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win back in September.

Rowe had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-19.

Lynette Palacios paced Rowe's offense, picking up 19 kills. Palacios got some help from Isabella Munoz and her 24 assists. Finally, Rosario Contreras kept Rowe's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Sharyland lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paula Perez, who had 15 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayleen Berlanga, who had 14 assists and eight digs.

Rowe's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Sharyland, their loss dropped their record down to 19-14.

Coincidentally, Rowe and Sharyland will both be playing Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest the next time they take the court. The Rattlers will head out to face the Javelinas at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
