It's playoff time, and Wagner had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 70-36 victory over the Jay Mustangs. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Wagner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nia Mcbride led the charge by going 6-for-14 on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was A'Rielle Williams, who went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Wagner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Jay lost, don't look at Ny'Ashia Barnes. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards.

Wagner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 25 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season. The defeat snapped Jay's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 26-10 record.

Wagner has already played their next match, a 49-39 win against Flour Bluff on the 17th. Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
