Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short at Home Against Shorecrest

Franklin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 20-0 to the Shorecrest Scots on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Shorecrest and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Franklin will challenge Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Franklin their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Shorecrest, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Sehome at 1:00 p.m.
