Volleyball Recap: Escondido Takes a Loss

Escondido had lost nine straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 9-19 to make it ten. They came up short against the Mission Hills Grizzlies, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 11th.

As for Mission Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mission Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Buhler, who had 12 assists and six aces. Those six aces gave Buhler a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Escondido will look to defend their home court on Friday against San Marcos at 6:00 p.m. As for Mission Hills, they will head out to challenge Mt. Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
