After losing to Shullsburg the last time they met, Belmont decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Belmont Braves walked away with a 48-37 victory over the Shullsburg Miners on Thursday.

Belmont has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Shullsburg, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-3.

Coming up, Belmont will venture away from home to challenge Mineral Point at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Shullsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
