Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Virgin Valley

Virgin Valley extended their postseason success on Thursday against Moapa Valley. They blew past the Pirates 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Virgin Valley was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-19.

Reece Leavitt paced Virgin Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Leavitt got some help from Dallin Moeai and his 31 assists. Aiden Muniz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Virgin Valley's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-9. As for Moapa Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-11.

Virgin Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Boulder City on the 13th. Moapa Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
