In what's become a running theme this season, Somers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the John Jay Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Somers.
Emily Boyle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Boyle has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Boyle was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and a triple.
