Soccer Recap: Bayonne Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bayonne lost against St. Peter's Prep back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bees fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Bayonne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while St. Peter's Prep are ranked 28th).

Bayonne's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for St. Peter's Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-1-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bayonne and St. Peter's Prep will both be playing Kearny the next time they take the pitch. The Bees will host the Kardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Marauders will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
