Baseball Game Preview: Lebanon Greyhounds vs. Dupo Tigers

The Lebanon Greyhounds will venture away from home to challenge the Dupo Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dupo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lebanon, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Lebanon turned things around against Bunker Hill on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Minutemen.

Deion Washington was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Bricyn Young also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Dupo was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Athens.

Dupo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thinh Staggs, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Dupo's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-13.

Lebanon came out on top in a nail-biter against Dupo in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Greyhounds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
