Baseball Recap: Mission College Prep Has No Trouble Against Yosemite

Mission College Prep came out on top against Yosemite on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Royals blew past the Badgers 13-1. With that victory, the Royals brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Joe Villa and Sam Connors did most of the damage at the plate: Villa got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Connors got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Mission College Prep is undefeated when Villa posts two or more runs, but 6-9 otherwise. Sean Rivas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
