Basketball Recap: Austin Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Austin had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They secured a 68-62 W over the Switzerland County Pacers. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Switzerland County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cam Craig, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 11 boards. Craig also grabbed three steals, which is notable because Switzerland County is 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 10-11 otherwise. Cooper Todd was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Switzerland County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Coming up, Austin will square off against Southwestern at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season. Switzerland County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
