Volleyball Recap: Bloom Comes Up Short

Bloom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete-Monee Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blazing Trojan of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17.

Bloom's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Crete-Monee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bloom will square off against rival Rich Township at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crete-Monee is set to challenge their familiar foe Kankakee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
