Basketball Recap: Manistee Takes a Loss

Manistee lost against North Muskegon back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Manistee Chippewas fell 47-34 to the North Muskegon Norsemen. While losing is never fun, the Chippewas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Norsemen are ranked 91st).

Manistee now has a losing record at 8-9. As for North Muskegon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Manistee has already played their next match (against Ludington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Muskegon will square off against Western Michigan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
