Connellsville owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Gateway Gators. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Mason Miller, who gave up just five hits to keep Gateway off the board. Miller has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Connellsville's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Firestone, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Firestone has hit this season.

Connellsville's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Gateway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
