Basketball Game Preview: Watertown Goslings vs. Beaver Dam Golden Beavers

Watertown is 0-10 against Beaver Dam since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Watertown Goslings will challenge the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers at 7:15 p.m.

Last Thursday, Watertown ended up a good deal behind Milton and lost 67-50. While losing is never fun, the Goslings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Red Hawks are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beaver Dam, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They strolled past DeForest with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 59-45.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Beaver Dam, their record now sits at 12-4.

Watertown lost to Beaver Dam on the road by a decisive 43-26 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Watertown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
