Basketball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Kountze Lions

Warren hasn't had much luck against Kountze recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warren Warriors will host the Kountze Lions at 5:45 p.m.

Meanwhile, Kountze entered their tilt with East Chambers on Tuesday with 17 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 18. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 97-53 victory over the Buccaneers. 97 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Kountze pushed their record up to 30-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.5 points per game. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 5-24.

Warren was taken down by Kountze 100-25 in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Kountze's Zac Sells, who almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, nine assists, and nine steals.
