Preview: St. Paul Lutheran Saints vs. Chillicothe Hornets
The St. Paul Lutheran Saints will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chillicothe Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Wednesday, St. Paul Lutheran was able to grind out a solid victory over Lone Jack, taking the game 59-52.
In what's become a running theme this season, Chillicothe gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They put the hurt on Camdenton with a sharp 62-38 victory. The win was nothing new for Chillicothe as they're now sitting on four straight.
Chillicothe got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Trout out in front who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that Trout pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Langsten Johnson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
St. Paul Lutheran's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for Chillicothe, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
