Underclassman Luis Guzman came into Friday's contest looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He wasn't messing around on Friday, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The match was his third straight with two or more stolen bases.

Guzman and Valley Oaks CES will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Community Charter at 2:00 p.m. on the 25th. The last time Guzman duked it out with the Titans (back in March), the Vanguards came out on top by a score of 15-3. Will another strong game from Guzman be enough to do it again?
