Football Game Preview: Indian Creek vs. Cloverdale

On Friday Indian Creek take on Cloverdale at Indian Creek High School at 7:00 PM. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.

Indian Creek put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put the hurt on Cascade with a sharp 46-14 victory. Senior Isaiah Lacey, who picked up 175 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs, was a major factor in Indian Creek's success. Lacey has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 7 games.

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Cloverdale and Owen Valley. Cloverdale took the contest and then some with a 56-7 win over Owen Valley. Cloverdale were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Indian Creek to 4-3 and Cloverdale to 2-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
