Recap: Kiefer Trojans vs. Beggs Demons
The Kiefer Trojans put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Beggs, posting a 68-6 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Kiefer, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Kiefer had a senior duo take command as Jaxon Worley threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes and Jentry Pendergraft gained 100 total yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Breland, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Kiefer's victory was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Beggs, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kiefer will take on Westville at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Westville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 199th, while Kiefer is ranked 27th). As for Beggs, they will be playing at home against Morris at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Morris comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
