Baseball Recap: Bishop Ready Takes a Loss

Bishop Ready's last matchup with Westerville North could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Silver Knights lost 13-1 to the Warriors. The Silver Knights have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bishop Ready saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makhi Wells, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Brendan Long was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Bishop Ready's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Westerville North, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will challenge Miami Trace at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westerville North, they will take on Dublin Scioto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
