Softball Game Preview: Gadsden County Jaguars vs. Bay Tornadoes

The Gadsden County Jaguars will take on the Bay Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Gadsden County challenged Jefferson County on Tuesday. Gadsden County fell just short of Jefferson County by a score of 14-13. Jaguars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tigers since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, everything went Bay's way against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on Friday as Bay made off with an 18-3 victory.

The win got Bay back to even at 1-1. As for Gadsden County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Gadsden County suffered a grim 18-1 defeat to Bay in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Gadsden County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
