Softball Recap: Delphi Community Has No Trouble Against Frankfort

Delphi Community won the last time they faced Frankfort and things went their way on Saturday too. The Oracles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Hot Dogs.

The team relied heavily on Abie Pearson, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Titus, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Delphi Community hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

The victory got Delphi Community back to even at 8-8. As for Frankfort, they are on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Delphi Community has already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Kankakee Valley on the 10th. As for Frankfort, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Tipton on the 10th.
