Baseball Preview: Cardinal Huskies vs. John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles
The Cardinal Huskies will challenge the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Cardinal not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 10-0). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Cornerstone Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Carter Tucker made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Evan Jones was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Charles Solitis was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
