After a string of 12 wins, Coastal Christian's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell  2-0 to the Atascadero Greyhounds. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Conquerors haven't been shut out since  back in August.
 While Coastal Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15,  25-22.
 Brooke Canaday paced Coastal Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Canaday got some help from  Mylee Neuschafer and her 16 assists.
 Atascadero found their leader in freshman  Cara Howes, who  had 15  assists. Howes has been hot, having  posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's  played.
Coastal Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Atascadero, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Coastal Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  loss against Nipomo on the 27th. As for Atascadero, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  victory against Garces Memorial on the 27th.
