Fort Bend Christian Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Kelly Catholic since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Fort Bend Christian Academy turned things around against St. Paul on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-14 victory over the Cardinals. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Fort Bend Christian Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Brayden Tibbetts and his top target Donnie Avery Jr. Tibbetts threw for 360 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt while Avery Jr picked up 171 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Avery Jr showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 58 yards.

Fort Bend Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Parker Woolley and Bryan Martin.

Meanwhile, Kelly Catholic strolled past Bay Area Christian with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 39-22.

Kelly Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Fort Bend Christian Academy against Kelly Catholic when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
