After a string of three wins, Brady's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the Alma Cardinals, falling 63-23. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

Leading Alma to victory were Kamryn Scott and Tierston Moore. Scott dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten steals, while Moore almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine steals. Scott has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Miley Whitney, who posted ten points along with five assists and three steals.

Brady's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Alma, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
