On Friday, everything came up roses for the Cornerstone Christian Patriots against the Lafayette Lancers as the team secured an 84-46 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Quinn Kwasniak, who went 15 of 29 on his way to 49 points along with six assists and six boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Cornerstone Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darrien Davis, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards.

Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Cornerstone Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 92-76 victory against Kirby on the 28th. As for Lafayette, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-40 defeat against De Smet Jesuit on the 28th.
