Baseball Recap: Coleman's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Coleman had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Winters Blizzards with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bluecats, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Brayden Torres made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Easton Meador was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kyle Chambers, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Coleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Coleman's record now sits at 14-7. As for Winters, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3-1.

Coleman will have a chance to go back-to-back against Winters: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
