Volleyball Recap: Jonesport-Beals Falls Short Against Ranked George Stevens Academy + How To Watch

Jonesport-Beals faced George Stevens Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Royals lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Jonesport-Beals was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-10, 25-12.

Aspen Alley paced Jonesport-Beals' offense, picking up three kills. Alley got some help from Chandler Khloei and her three assists.

Jonesport-Beals' loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for George Stevens Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
