Football Recap: Kauai Comes Up Short

Kauai was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 27-7 to the Kapa'a Warriors. The Red Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Kauai's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kapa'a, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Kauai and Kapa'a will both be playing Waimea the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Menehunes on Saturday, while the Red Raiders will host them on the 18th.
