St. Charles North won the last time they faced Lake Park and things went their way on Friday too. The North Stars took down the Lancers 35-16. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the North Stars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Lancers are ranked 86th).

Although Lake Park took the loss, they still got scores from Taysean Kemonte Smith and Anthony Orestano.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Charles North and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points over those games. As for Lake Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
