Mountain Pointe won the last time they faced Carl Hayden Community and things went their way on Monday too. The Mountain Pointe Pride sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 victory over the Carl Hayden Community Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Pride sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Despite the loss, Carl Hayden Community still got an impressive performance from Prince Cash, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave Cash a new career-high. Mouhamed Khoule was another key player, putting up four points in addition to five boards and four blocks.

Mountain Pointe has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Carl Hayden Community, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-6.

Mountain Pointe has already played their next game, a 74-61 win against Arizona College Prep on the 23rd. As for Carl Hayden Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 83-20 victory against Metro Tech on the 23rd.
