Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Takes a Loss

West Brunswick came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Topsail Pirates. While losing is never fun, West Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Topsail are ranked 60th).

West Brunswick has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Topsail, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3-5.
