Sacred Heart of Jesus waltzed into their match on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors 15-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 25-1 back in March.

Alina Valenzuela made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Melania Saborio was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Trinity Godson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
