Softball Recap: North Surry Extends Winning Streak to Four

While North Surry put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Forbush. The Greyhounds were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for North Surry, bringing their record up to 10-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Forbush, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, North Surry will welcome West Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forbush, they will square off against Millville at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
