Football Recap: Kress Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Lefors last Friday, Kress came back down to earth. The Kangaroos took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Deer Bucks on Friday. While the Kangaroos had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bucks 16-6.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for White Deer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kress will challenge Nazareth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kangaroos will be up against the Swifts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White Deer, they will face off against Boys Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bucks will need to watch out since the Roughriders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
