Volleyball Recap: Second Baptist University-Model Gets the Win

While Second Baptist University-Model didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Founders Christian Falcons on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagle.

Second Baptist University-Model walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Ava Yaw paced Second Baptist University-Model's offense, picking up 19 kills. Yaw got some help from Micah Yaw and her 22 assists. Kherington Snyder controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Second Baptist University-Model's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Founders Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Second Baptist University-Model didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tournament Team on the 12th. As for Founders Christian, they will head out to face off against Faith Academy on Thursday.
