Soccer Recap: Nash Central Takes a Loss

Nash Central lost against Roanoke Rapids back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 9-0 to the Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, Nash Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 584th, while Roanoke Rapids are ranked 219th).

Nash Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Roanoke Rapids, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Nash Central is set to take on their familiar foe Bunn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Roanoke Rapids will square off against rival Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
