Season Preview:
Mountain Brook will be heavy favorites to capture its third consecutive AHSAA Class 7A state championship, returning four starters and landing an impact transfer.

Watford, the Spartans top returner and first team Junior MaxPreps All-American, headlines a strong returning core that includes Berman, Washington and Stramaglia.

Talented Pinson Valley (Pinson, Ala.) transfer Jones provides a much-needed scoring punch alongside the 5-star forward Watford.

The Spartans face a demanding schedule from the onset, taking on Bearden, Olive Branch and Meadowcreek,  all before traveling to the City of Palms Classic prior to Christmas.

Mountain Brook is a team with a lot of potential to rise in the rankings with a good start to the season and a strong showing in the City of Palms Classic.
