Georgetown Day and Eastern squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Georgetown Day had to settle for second. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern Ramblers. The Mighty Hoppers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Georgetown Day's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Eastern, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.
