Soccer Game Preview: Conneaut vs. Lakeside

The Conneaut Spartans will square off against the Lakeside Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Conneaut is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Jefferson Area 2-1 on Thursday. Conneaut wouldn't have won without Austin Brown, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Lakeside kept a clean sheet against LaBrae on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings. The win was some much needed relief for Lakeside as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Lakeside now has a winning record of 7-6-2. As for Conneaut, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-2.
