Baseball Recap: Jackson-Reed Tigers vs. Coolidge Colts

Jackson-Reed stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let the Coolidge Colts onto the board and left with a 26-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Jackson-Reed sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Liam Blick looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Jack Jannsen and Jackson Loomis did most of the damage at the plate: Jannsen went 3-for-3 with six RBI, three runs, and three doubles, while Loomis went 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and a triple. Tommy Gore was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Jackson-Reed is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Coolidge, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.
